REVIEW BY THE SUPER JOHN DAVIS
Basic
Story Idea: Two men from totally different types of livestyles are nearing death from cancer. They become good friends
and decide to do everything they've never done before they die.
Acting: Solid, Good, Believable. Morgan Freeman
and Jack Nicholson are both fantastic. Great moments pepper this tearjerking, yet funny movie. There are some wonderful exchanges
between the two men and the supporting characters.
Writing/Story: Good story. Very tearjerking at times with
it's sad moments, but has a lot of warmheartedness too. It might just be me, but I enjoyed all the emotions put into this
movie. I could relate to it a lot.
Special Effects: N/A.
The Main Disappointments: I got
nothing here...
Overall Opinion and Rating: Rating - 9 outta 10. Just a good movie. A bit tragic, a bit
sad, a bit funny, and a bit heartwarming. It's a nice date movie as well.
Extra Thoughts: Jack Nicholson
delivers some hilarious lines, but Morgan Freeman hits with the funniest one in the movie toward the end.
