In Timeshift you play as a amnesiac scientist who has traveled
in time to hunt down the evil Dr. Krone. Standard story. Thats pretty much this game's life: standard. Timeshift is kind of
what you expect and not what you hoped for. It is underrated but it is in no way the pinnacle of FPS gaming. It's a very standard
game, the sound doesn't distinguish itself from any other new game nowadays, the graphics are great but not up to par with
Geras of War or Mass Effect and the gameplay is solid and at the same time, not innovating at all. To the point, its a rental.
Time powers are the game's only saving grace. Killing five enemies at the same time five different ways then watching them
un-pause and die with catastrophic effect never gets old. The game also includes a bit of rail shooting and vehicle control
but it's all just standard stuff. Standard play through. It's not the worst, just nothing but standard.
Gameplay: Standard FPS
action, time powers add a nice touch. Controls: Nothing new here, this is straight ass kicking FPS. Graphics:
Very nice, not <ass Effect nice but it does a great job. Sound: What you would expect from next-gen
games. Nothing to brag about. Replay Value: Moderate. Overall: 6.8 out of 10
