Do I ever review a bad game? The answer is no because I don't
buy bad games. Bioshock is the pinnacle of FPS single player story telling. The story will blow your mind as it drags you
through the world of Rapture. The world is in decay, water pours through broken ceilings, maniacs doped up on ADAM lurk around
every corner. Big Daddys are scary. There is literally nothing bad to say about this game. Travel through the aftermath of
a nightmare realized. An entire city engulfed in killing. Survival of the fittest. Driven towards DNA genetic modification.
Plasmids offer a wife range of effects including freeze, incinerate, electrocute, hypnotize, laying vortex traps and even
sicking a swarm of bees on a group of baddies. The game triumphs where other FPS campaign modes fail probably due in part
to the lack of multiplayer. A turn off for alot of FPS fans but this just made for a greater first person game and ultimately
the game is better for it. The story is enthralling and the twists will leave you wanting for more. Begging for more in fact.
So I leave this to you, my friend, visit Rapture. The choice is yours. Will you help the children or enslave them? Remember,
a man man chooses, a slave obeys! So would you kindly give Bioshock a play? Would you kindly? Obey!
Gameplay: A wonderful experience
that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Controls: Solid and responsive. Using weapons and plasmids
is easy. Graphics: The Unreal engine proves its worth yet again. The environments are terrifying and the water effects
are beautiful. Sound: Eerie, creepy, frightening, I think you get the idea. Replay Value: Moderately High. Overall: 9.5 out
of 10
